"You were supposed to call me to collect you from the station," he scolded as he pulled her into a hug.

"I'm not riding on the back of that death trap,"

Melissa replied with an exaggerated shiver.

Andy ignored the insult to his bike and guided her inside. He could tell the moment she saw Benji. If he hadn't given up on ignoring the ghosts Melissa would have given him away within a minute of stepping into the flat.

"Oh, my stars! Is that him?"

Andy rolled his eyes at her overly dramatic

exclamation. "Yeah," he replied as Benji preened. "This is Benji Richards and his mother, Flora."

"It's great to meet you both." Melissa reached out a hand to shake before remembering they were ghosts and pulling it back awkwardly. "Andy has told me so much about you."

"He has?" Benji leaned round her to look at Andy questioningly. "Has he told you about our plans for Halloween?"

Andy didn't think he'd ever seen his sister blush such an interesting shade of red before.

"Halloween?" Flora asked. "What are you planning for Halloween?"

Andy sat down across from Benji. "You're on your own with that one."
